Quick update…I havent had a smoke for 3 days now. Feeling okay now but been getting some pretty bad withdrawl head aches but im determined to keep it up hence I plan to not go out for a few weeks so I dont crack. Sure ill survive…plan to watch season 3  this weekend so ill be grand…and ive got plenty of mints in as well.

I was watching the first season again last night and this quote felt particularly poiniont.

“Quittin’ smokin’ is kinda like going to prison. If you can get through the first three days, you got a fighting chance. First we tried the tapes, then we tried the patches. Someone told us to try carrot sticks as a subsitute, but we couldn’t get the damn things to light.”

Well…poiniont in as far as I’m trying to quit smoking at the moment and its tough and the line made me laugh. I can so relate. Ive been reduced to sucking mints constantly. My biggest issue is when I go for a beer though. I always crack. I think if Im going to quit smoking im going to have to quit drinking too…I cant see that happening!
